Genre & gameplay: PREARMAR_2 is a B2B industrial Augmented Reality application used on construction sites. It overlays 3D models (like steel meshes or columns) onto physical spaces, allows millimeter-accurate measurement of pieces, and records video evidence for traceability and quality assurance. My contributions: Joined a massive, unstable legacy codebase containing 8,000+ line monolithic scripts. I contributed heavily to the modernization layer alongside the team, isolating the technical debt. My specific ownership centered around scene optimization, fixing the video recording integration, and ensuring reliable data uploads to endpoints. I also designed and implemented a QR code scanner that allows operators to instantly load specific 3D models and projects, completely bypassing cumbersome manual list searches—a massive workflow improvement. I am currently working on optimizing the UI performance (implementing debouncing for searches and list rendering optimizations). I also implemented the AR measurement behavior and offset lines, carefully handling local-to-real-world scale mathematical conversions without breaking the legacy geometry calculations. Delivered a stable, production-ready version that met the client's needs.
