Genre & gameplay: PHVA’s Car Simulator is a VR training module where users drive a car through controlled scenarios designed to teach safe driving habits and risk awareness. The focus is on correct behavior, hazard recognition, and following safety protocols rather than arcade-style action. My contributions: Implemented the core driving logic, input handling and camera setup for HTC Vive Pro. Integrated the simulator into PHVA’s broader VR safety curriculum, aligning scenarios with training objectives. Tuned vehicle feel, UI prompts and scenario triggers to keep the experience clear for non-gamer trainees. Supported performance optimizations and adjustments to keep framerates and comfort within acceptable training standards.
