Genre & gameplay: Piano Tiles VR is a rhythm game concept where the floor is covered with oversized piano tiles, and players physically move and jump across them to hit notes in time with the music. The MVP targets three musical worlds with different difficulties, supporting both full VR and passthrough modes with safety features. My contributions: Focused on system design for level difficulty, including tile size, beat variations, and data structures for merging music and gameplay files. Helped design tools and logic that control how patterns are generated and how difficulty scales, enabling designers to iterate faster on rhythm and layout. Worked closely with the rest of the team handling tile spawning, visuals, safety boundaries and haptics to keep the experience cohesive.
